Pros
- If you are looking for a lightweight, easy-to handle steam mop that also happens to be quite effective, the Shark Steam and Spray Professional (SK460) happens to be a great buy. Its weight makes it easy to lift and carry around so it’s really easy to clean up and sanitize germy messes.
- No trigger – moving the mop back and forth pumps the handle to create the steam when the mop is in steam mode, if you have a decent amount of tile your hand will get tired pulling the steam trigger over and over (and holding it the entire time is even worse.)
- Cleaner – it’s free and it really does help get the dried up/stuck on stuff up quicker than steam alone also allows you to use this as a regular mop.
- Non-steam mode – don’t add water or plug it in, just pop on a disposable pad and use the squirt cleaner which is great for quick cleanups – NICE
- The pad area is a good size – big, but not too big to get into tight spots and the mop seems easier to maneuver than my last two
- Easy remove terry pad – it has a tab and is held on with velour and it’s really easy to get off and on. The tab means you can remove the pad if you are careful while it’s hot.
- Easy to assemble out of the box. Also clear easy to understand instructions. Furthermore it is easy to use, maneuvers easily. Most of all easy to change pads and steam settings. Did a very nice job of leaving clean streak free floors with both the disposable and reusable pads. Pretty color.
Cons
- No refillable bottle and you have to use their cleaner only. A refillable bottle would have been a big bonus since product users would have had the freedom to use a cleaner of their choice.
- The mop does not stand up by itself making it inconvenient to find a place to lean it to refill the water or to move furniture.
- You only get ONE reusable mop pad in the box and two disposables.
- The cords are not really that long and wish it was like extra 2feet longer.
